Services for Adelaida G. Lacambra, 93, of Lompoc will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Tom Cook of La Purisima Catholic Church presiding.
Our beloved mother Adelaida was born December 16, 1916 in the Philippines. She has resided in Lompoc for 34 years, and was fondly known as Nanay to her family and friends. She was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary prayer group, the Filipino American Club, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the Lompoc Comprehensive Care Center.
Survivors include daughters, Milagros Tubb and Violet Delara, both of San Bernardino, California; sons, Herman G. Lacambra of Florida, Remy G. Lacambra and Eduardo G. Lacambra, both of Lompoc, and Carmelo G. Lacambra of Las Vegas, Nevada; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Her husband Elias preceded her in death in 1991.
Visitation hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
