Albert Ramonett Soza, named after his grandfather, was born on June 24, 1964, in Tucson, Arizona. He was the third of five boys born to Angelina Ramonett Soza and Daniel Felix Soza; Daniel Jr., David (who passed away in 1996), Albert, Alex, and Anthony.
He grew up the son of an active-duty Air Force service member which allowed him to grow up in a variety of places and environments like Little Rock, Arkansas; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Tucson, Arizona and Fort Walton Beach, Florida before finally coming to Vandenberg A.F.B., California where his father retired from active service then moved to Lompoc.
Upon graduating from Cabrillo High School in 1982 he attended Allan Hancock College and then pursued a Vocational Certification from Phoenix Institute of Technology as an Electrical System Technician. He then started his career in electronics with various defense contractors located in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area where he eventually moved to.
While living in Santa Barbara he became an avid outdoors man who enjoyed camping and fishing at the local beaches and lakes. He also enjoyed golfing and did so regularly with his friends. Having played football growing up he loved the game and became a die-hard 49ers fan; he could also be found tailgating at USC home football games with his co-workers early in his career.
Later in life he bought a house and moved back to Lompoc where he could be closer to family and give his future dogs a good yard. Upon retiring he still enjoyed the outdoors, working on his house and being with his dogs.
Albert is survived by his mother and father; brothers Daniel Jr., Alex, Anthony, and his dogs, Chewee and Rusty.
