Obituary

On Thursday, January 26, 2023, the Lord summoned his child home. Alejandro "Alex" Delgado passed on to glory at the age of 50 in Lompoc California. Alejandro was born on Feb 28th, 1972, in Lompoc, California.

Alejandro was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Alejandro was that rare person that never met a stranger, if you were fortunate enough to meet him then you made a friend. Alex loved his outdoor activities such as surfing, camping, skydiving, RC cars, and spending quality time with his friends and family, he also took the mantle as the grill master passed on to him by his father.

Alex was proceeded in death by his father Jesus Delgado of Lompoc California,

He is survived by his Loving Mother Consuelo Delgado of Lompoc, California, his pride and joy daughter Cassandra Delgado of Santa Maria, California, Sister Rosa Lopez of Arkansas (husband Crispin Lopez), Brother Jessie Delgado of Lompoc, California, Brother Rafael Delgado of Lompoc, California (Spouse Claudia Delgado), Sister Angelina Hamm of Las Vegas, Nevada. (Spouse Myron Hamm). Life Long Friend Sergio Díaz, and girlfriend Kristi Jacobson of Lompoc, California. Alejandro's family consisted of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who are left to celebrate his life.

We are reminded that life however long or short it is should be cherished. Those that we love are a gift from God and we should be eternally grateful for the time that we are blessed with our loved ones. St John 14th Chapter tells us, "Let not your heart be troubled ye believe in God believe also in me, In my father's house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you, And when I go I will come again and receive you unto myself, That where I am ye may be also."

Alex lived a very adventurous life, always looking forward to the next big moment to celebrate. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but we find peace and comfort in knowing one day we will be reunited.

The visitation will be Thursday, February 2, from 4-6pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, with the recitation of the rosary at 6pm.  The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, February 3, at 9:30am at La Purisima Catholic Church followed by interment in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
