IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alfred F.
Perry
June 15, 1937 – March 8, 2026
Alfred F. Perry, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and longtime business owner, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 88. Alfred was best known in his community as the proud owner and operator of Perry’s Auto Wrecking & Salvage, a business he dedicated decades of hard work to before retiring in 2020. Through his work, he built lasting relationships and earned a reputation for fairness, resilience, and an easygoing spirit.
A longtime member of the Elks Club, Alfred enjoyed the camaraderie of friends and the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep appreciation for vintage cars, loved a good card game, and could often be found enjoying the excitement of the hot dice table. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit, warm sense of humor, and the bright smile he shared freely with others.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Jill Perry; his son, Chris Perry; his daughter, Kelly Diana Wessels; and his stepsons, Mark Sherman and Bill Sherman. He was a proud and generous grandfather to ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Allison Perry. Alfred will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the strong sense of family he carried throughout his life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
