Maria Louisa "Alice" Bermudez, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on November 20th, 2019. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family. Alice was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California, on March 23rd, 1930, to Amalia and Jesus Arevalos, and was one of ten children. Alice was raised in Lompoc, California, and married the love of her life, Delfino Bermudez, on July 30th, 1960. She is survived by her two brothers, Angelo and Richard Arevalos, her children; Ernie, Jennie and Debbie, her seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Alice was known to many as Nana. Nana's greatest joy in life was being able to raise her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was so happy to be a part of their lives every step of the way.

In addition to her own family, Nana always had an open home to anyone in need. She naturally cared for everyone and would cook a meal for all who walked through the door. She enjoyed hosting loved ones in her house, dancing to Mexican music, watching baseball (Go Royals!), and had the biggest sweet tooth. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.

A rosary will be held at Queen of Angels church at 9:15am, Mass to follow at 10am, on Tuesday, November 26 ^th , 2019. After mass, the burial will be held at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Lompoc Veterans Memorial Building.
