Obituary
Alice C. Domingos,96, formerly of Lompoc and Santa Barbara County native, died Friday, September 28, 2012 in Santa Maria. She was raised on the central coast and had lived in the Gaviota area, Lompoc, and most recently Santa Maria. She was a wonderful home maker who loved to cook, crochet, and spend time with her family and in her garden.
She was born February 5, 1916 to Antonio and Emilia Chaves. She was the last survivor of 15 children.
Surviving family members include her daughter Laura Mullins; grandchildren Karen Amoroso, Charles Mullins, Patty Asselsteine, Tony Pinheiro, Marne Carrothers, and Bobby Domingos.
Vigil services will be 6 p.m. Monday October 1, 2012 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at La Purisima Catholic Church with Rev. Tomas Ellis celebrating. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m.Monday at the mortuary.
