Obituary
Alice Marie Ripley of Lompoc died Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at the age of 84.
Alice was born July 2, 1923 in McAlister, Texas to Cornelieus and Birdie Hansford. She was a cocktail waitress at the Turf Club in Fresno for 19 years. Formerly of Medford, Oregon, she has been a resident of Lompoc since last year.
Alice is survived by her sons, Larry hill and his wife Cathy of Cypress, California, Edgar Lane Ripley, Jr., and his wife Sheila of Fresno, Donnie Neal Ripley and his wife Pam of Cartersville, Georgia, and Tommy Bryant Ripley of Fresno; daughters, Dianne Marie Talley and her husband Thomas of Lompoc, and Cheryl Ann Thornhill and her husband Gary of Waco, Texas; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her son James Ripley in 1957, and her daughter Wanda Elaine Kruse in 2006. One of six children, Alice was preceded in death by all of her siblings.
At her request no services will be held. Cremation will be followed by private inurnment.
Her family suggests memorial donations be made to a favorite charity.
