Obituary

Alicia Magdaleno of Lompoc died on December 19, 2014, at the age of 60. Alicia was born on August 13, 1954, to Pedro and Francisca Morales, in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico. She moved to Lompoc in 1980.

Alicia was a life-long homemaker who enjoyed gardening, movies, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and sisters. She was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church.

Alicia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jose G. Magdaleno; her daughter and son-in-law Bertha and Leonardo Magdaleno-Silvas, son Jose L. Magdaleno, and son Ricardo Magdaleno, all of Lompoc. She is also survived by her sisters, Leticia Aguilera, Francisca Rojas, Laura Barraza, Celia Garcia, Guadalupe Contreras, Maria Hernandez, all of Lompoc; sister Carmen Heredia of Woodland, California; brothers Saul Morales and Tony Lopez of Lompoc, three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Francisca Morales, two brothers, Enrique Morales and Pedro Morales, and two sisters, Josefina Melgoza and Estela Barajas, a brother-in-law and a niece.

Her family described her as the greatest mom and that she was loved very much and will be missed.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014, from 4 pm to 8 pm, with a vigil being held at 7 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Lompoc, with interment following at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
