Amalia Angulo, age 80, was born on November 9, 1938, in Arandas, Jalisco, MX. She spent 60 wonderful years married to the love of her life, Gregorio Angulo. Together they had seven children- 5 sons, Salvador, Alejandro, Joel, Juan, Erasmo and two daughters Maricela, and Maria. Amalia had been a resident of Lompoc, CA, since 1982.

Amalia loved spending time in her garden. She was known for her amazing home-grown fruits, vegetables, and her hot chili peppers. Amalia truly had a green thumb. Weekends were the highlight of her days knowing she would be surrounded by her family at their weekend BBQ's.
Amalia was a faithful member of La Purisima Catholic Church, where she attended services seven days a week; each day devoted in prayer to one of her seven children.

Amalia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by Salvador and Rosie Angulo (Cynthia, Roy, Jessica, Antonio), Alejandro and Yula Alicia Angulo (Karina, Alejandro, Jr.), Maricela and Alberto Mejia (Alberto, Jr., Ivan Byron, Cristian), Maria and Alejandro Inzunza (Alejandro, Jr., Minerva, Michelle), Joel and Maria Angulo (Joel, Jr., Pricilla, Elena), Juan and Virgie (Arianna, Justin, Joshua, Emma, Joseph) and Erasmo and Melissa Angulo (Sabastian, Jacob, Lucas), great grandchildren Cristina, Adrian, Yulianna and Leonel.

Amalia joins in heaven her grandson Salvador Angulo, Jr..

A Rosary service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019, at La Purisima Catholic Church from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral services will follow on Friday, April 5, 2019, 10am at La Purisima Catholic Church.
