Services for Angeline "Angie" Frances Duvall will be 3 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Lompoc Cemetery with Pastor Doug Connelly of New Life Christian Center officiating.
Angie danced out of our lives on December 19, 2008. She was born on February 23, 1953 to Jerome and Alma (Rae) Jozwiak at Scott AFB, Belleville, Illinois. She and her family moved to Lompoc in June of 1965. She was employed with ITT Federal Services for 33 years as a graphic designer before her retirement. She was also a bartender in Lompoc for many years and developed many close friendships which have lasted throughout the years.
Angie had a love for life; she loved dance, music, and especially the 50's. She learned to work on cars and helped restore her '57 Chevy to show quality, for which she won many awards. Angie loved to entertain and one of her favorites was costume parties. She'd throw herself an annual "29th" birthday party every year, for 13 years straight, until she was 42 years old. She invited all her friends and family to join in her celebration. Many years of fond memories revolved around Angie's annual events. Angie was known for her practical jokes and sense of humor. She loved to laugh and make others laugh too.
Angie is survived by her loving husband Winston, her stepsons David and Stephen (Charity) Duvall, her sister Sharon (Joseph) Pogue, brothers Anthony (Nancy) Jozwiak, Jerry (Jamie) Jozwiak, nieces and nephews Ruth, Jeremy, Jennie, Jesse, Joshua, Suzanne, Joey, and Andrew; one granddaughter, Gabrielle and her extended family in England. Her mother and father, grandparents and numerous close friends preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
