Lompoc native Angie M. Pasquini died Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of 70. Angie was born November 30, 1946 in Lompoc to Paolo and Maddalena Pasquini. After graduating from Lompoc High School with the class of 1964, she attended Allan Hancock College. She spent most of her career as an administrative assistant with the Boeing Aerospace Company at VAFB for 23-25 years and working part-time for the final 2 years as the company relocated. Not wanting to leave Lompoc, Angie started her second calling in October of 1998 as an administrative aide at the Lompoc Museum where she worked until the spring of 2016. Angie was a member of La Purisima Catholic Church, the Sons of Italy Lodge, the Italian Catholic Federation, and the Lompoc Museum. She remained active with the Lompoc Museum and often donated her time. The social contacts at the Museum were rewarding beyond the part-time job she held.
Angie is survived by her sister and her husband Katy and Dick Atkinson of Santa Ynez; her nephew and his wife Gene and Colleen Margheim of Lompoc, and nephew and his wife Richard and Aggie Atkinson of Danville, Calif., and two great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marta Gilbert.
Visitation hours will be from 4-8pm Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary with an evening vigil at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Friday at La Purisima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Angie's family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
