Ann Helene Miller (Vorlob) 60, of Lompoc died October 18, 2014 at her home surrounded by her children and loved ones.

Ann was born on May 22, 1954 in Oxnard, California. Her family moved to Lompoc in 1960 where she grew up and attended local schools. She graduated from Lompoc High School.

Ann loved to travel and lived in many different states making lifelong friends and bonds all over the country. In 1999 she moved back to Lompoc to let her children put down roots and raise their children in our small, safe town.

Ann enjoyed having all the children and grandchildren around and enjoyed spending time with Jim Hudson, Jr., her soul mate of over 18 years, who was the love of her life. She spent the last 15 years helping raise the grandchildren and being the neutral mediator in our lives.

She is survived by her children; Molly (Josh) Poynter, Brian Blakeboro Francis (Leah Fox), Martin Vorlob II, Jessica Vorlob (Hamby), Jeff Vorlob (Rosa Lopez), Victoria Vorlob (Dustin Parker) and William Vorlob, her brother Merrille Miller and Sister Patricia Martin (Darrell) both of Fresno, California, 19 grandchildren, one niece and one nephew both of Fresno.

She fought a hard battle with her illness before she went to be with the Lord. With one last "I love you" she went to be with her dad and mom in heaven.
