Anthony Hernandez of Lompoc died Tuesday, April 14, 2009,at the age of 24.
Anthony was born March 25, 1985 in Lompoc. He attended local schools including Lompoc High School. He worked as a DJ at the Moose Lodge and at private parties and he was a laborer for Allied Fence.
Anthony was a kind and gentle man with a heart of gold He loved spending time with his family and children. He especially enjoyed accompanying his grandmother to the casino to play Bingo.
Anthony is survived by his children Rita and Anthony, Jr. of Lompoc, his mother Josephine Hernandez of Santa Maria, his father Nicholas Jasso of Oxnard, his grandmother Antonia Alvarez of Lompoc, his great grandparents Josephine and Johnny Regalado of Santa Maria, his brothers Johnny Hernandez of Lompoc, Raymond Hernandez of Santa Maria, Jesse Contreras of Santa Maria, Christopher Chavez of Victorville, Trini Hernandez of Santa Maria, Vincent Alvarez of Lompoc, Joseph Medina of Lompoc and Paul Madrigal of Santa Maria, his companion Olga Galvez of Lompoc and his best friend Ruben Ramos. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive him.
The time and place of the funeral service will be announced at a later date.
