Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Terrones Morales passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the age of 67.

He was born December 11, 1955, in Lompoc, CA to Jose A. and Mary T. Morales. He graduated from Lompoc High School in 1973 and began working at Bodgers where he met the love of his life, Alicia, and they would recite their vows on December 3, 1976. Shortly thereafter, he began a landscaping business which he retired from in 2017. Together, he and Alicia raised three bouncing baby boys.

Tony was a family man and stressed the need to both visit and pay respects to family in his free time. Every Sunday the entire Morales family would get together, which usually wound up turning into BBQs at the family ranch on Highway 246. He loved barbecuing and taking the family on road trips to see family throughout CA in the family van on any whim. He was an extremely hard-working man and took great pride in his work. Among the many things he instilled in his boys was a great work ethic and generosity.

Eventually, he answered the calling of his next and most important great love in Jesus Christ. Tony began to visit a local church and gave his life to Christ by becoming a born-again Christian. Steadfast in his faith, not a day went by where he did not live for God. Earlier in 2023, he and Alicia were blessed by gaining custody of three of his grandchildren whom he loved so much!

Tony is preceded in everlasting life by his son Michael, parents Jose and Mary Morales, and his brother George.

He is survived by his wife Alicia, sons; Anthony (Erika), Raymond (Kim), and seven grandchildren; Anthony, Michael, Evan, Sebastian, Brayden, Olivia, and Matias.

A funeral service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church on Dec. 6, 2023, from 6-8 pm. 135 S. E Street, Lompoc Ca 93436. A burial service will be held at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery on Dec. 7, 2023, at 3 pm. 600 S. C Street, Lompoc CA 93436

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:16
