Arlene Joyce Vineyard passed away peacefully on Saturday September 17th 2016 surrounded by family. Formerly of Lompoc and lifelong resident of Santa Barbara County, Arlene was born in Santa Maria on March 4th 1938. She was a wife, proud mother, grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of four. She enjoyed family first, camping, traveling, visiting the coast, fine dining, the mountains and all aspects of nature, her dogs and Chuck the infamous African Gray parrot.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Vineyard, sons Douglas and Phillip Anderberg and their respective families. (Douglas and Wendy Anderberg and their immediate children Autumn Anderberg, Amy Anderberg, Russell Anderberg, and their children by marriage, Joshua Rhine, Sarah Anderberg, and Samuel Strider. Her great-grandchildren include Brody Alan, Alivia Marie, Logan Alan and Johana Leigh.) Graveside services will be held 2 pm on Thursday September 22nd at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony to be announced at a later date.
