Obituary
Services for Armando Avelar, a Native of Santa Barbara County and Lompoc resident, will be 3 pm Monday, April 11, 2016 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Visitation hours will be one hour prior to service time. Private burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Santa Barbara at a later date.
Armando was born February 4, 1953 in Santa Barbara. Survivors include his daughters Rennie Avelar, Lorraine DeLeon, and Christina Avelar all of Santa Maria; Jennie Avelar of Guadalupe; Paty Avelar of Santa Barbara, and Misty Avelar of Los Angeles; sons Armando Avelar and Aaron Avelar of Santa Maria; and Anthony Avelar of Santa Barbara.
He died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Comprehensive Care Center in Lompoc.
