Arthur Ted Velasco, 59, was born on March 5th, 1957, to Carmen Banuelos and Ted Velasco in Lompoc, California. Art graduated from Lompoc High School in 1975, and served in the United States Navy from 1975 to 1979. After an honorable discharge from the Navy Art pursued a career with the United States Postal Service for 37 years. Art enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Art passed away on June 29, 2016, in his home.

Art is survived by his son, Artie Velasco and his wife Maribeth Velasco; son, Cody Velasco and his Fiancée Lindsey Arevalos; daughter, Spring Velasco and her boyfriend Alex Dionicio; granddaughters, Natalie Dionicio, Gracie Velasco and Aubree Velasco; mother, Carmen Banuelos; sisters, Maggie Wuest and Elaine Costa; brothers, Gilbert Banuelos, Mike Velasco, Joe Velasco, Ronnie Velasco and Chuck Velasco; multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Service will be held on July 5th at 11AM at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1500 N F St in Lompoc, at 12:30PM following the service, please bring a dish and memories to share.
