IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ava Nicole
Foreman-Day
August 1, 2006 – April 1, 2022
It is with tremendous sorrow that the family of Ava "Bo" Nicole Foreman-Day announces her unexpected passing on the morning of April 1, 2022.
Ava has so many friends and family that love her. She always stepped up to help take care of her younger siblings and loved them with all of her heart. She loved to do science experiments with her cousins, baked excellent cakes, and she loved spending time with her grandmother Colleen. Ava was brave, determined, and had a great sense of humor.
Ava had a very active childhood. She loved to hang out with her aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of her family, going out on outdoor adventures such as camping and hiking, spending the Fourth of July, and Labor Day at Lopez lake every year. Rarely you would not see her best friend Aja by her side.
As a young girl, Ava was a cheerleader, a Girl Scout, and a valuable soccer player for five years. She tried out every sport under the sun. Music and the performing arts were another big part of her life. She loved to sing, and listen to music, and she shared her love of music with anybody that she could. She began to learn how to play the piano at the age of 4 under her grandmother Karen, performing in numerous recitals and talent shows. She enjoyed attending the PCPA theater, and she herself was a stagehand on the set of The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan during her elementary school years at Manzanita.
Academics were important to Ava and she worked very hard on her school work. She attended both Lompoc and Cabrillo High Schools where she was an AP student, achieving Academic Honors with a 4.0 GPA during her Freshman Year.
Ava is survived by her mother Lindsey Day and stepfather Benjamin Ingraham of Lompoc, Ca., and her father Andrew Foreman, and stepmother Renee Campbell of Osage Beach, MO. She is also survived by her siblings Callie and Telynn Cruz, brothers Xander Day and Matthew Foreman. Great grandparents Lola and Walter Day, Grandparents Colleen Day, Terrell Day and Loni Johnston, Mark Foreman and Karen Foreman. Uncles and Aunts Aaron and Dani Day, Tiffany and Lance Mamane, Chris Day and Paola Nacar, Lisa and Nate Bates, David, and Raeleen Maraszek, and Richard Foreman, and cousins Benjamin, Kona, Jasmin, Maya, Jaden, Dominic, Tyce, Cydney, Tyler, LaNia, Henry, Emily, and Lucas.
Please bring your favorite memory, it doesn't matter what it is just your favorite memory, written on a piece of paper or a small token to be placed inside a vault that will be buried with her.
There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the Lompoc Valley Baptist Church, 700 E. College Avenue in Lompoc, Ca.
