Barbara Ann Bushnell was called home to be with her husband Howard Bushnell on May 8, 2022, on his birthday. She missed him so much and wanted to be with him as her heart never healed after his passing on June 28, 2020. Barbara passed away at the age of 63, she was born in Seattle, Washington on April 3, 1959. She moved to Lompoc in 1999 and pursued her career as a hairdresser in various beauty shops in town. She loved her job, she enjoyed making everyone happy and making new friends. Barbara also loved fashion and looking beautiful, always matching from head to toe. She loved animals, especially her three fur babies, Scoop, Rattatuie, and Louie, who stayed by her side until her last breath. They were her whole world, and they comforted her heart after her husband Howard passed away.

Barbara will be lovingly missed by her family and friends, she is survived by her mother, Lonna Nemeroff, and stepdad, Anthony Holderman, her sister, January Libby (Forrest), her beautiful nieces, Jax Morales, Luccia, great-nieces; Chloe, Lily Almanza, her niece Katie Leone (Joe), and her nephew Nick Toros, Aunt Gail and her family on her mom's side, her stepson, Christopher Bushnell, nephew, Ernie, and her husband's Howard's side of the family.

Barbara will be joining all her angels in Heaven, her husband Howard, brothers, Steve and Jeff Dacuyan, her aunts, her grandma and grandpa, and the rest of the family and friends, that are waiting for her to fly free in peace and free of pain. Barbara will be forever loved and missed. She will be in our hearts and by our side every day.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 2 pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 2800 Harris Grade Rd. Lompoc, Ca. 93436.
