Barbara J. Robles of Lompoc died Sunday, January 15, 2017, at the age of 76.
Barbara was born March 27, 1940, to Frank and Dorothy Robles in Santa Barbara. She was raised and educated in Isla Vista. She attended Santa Barbara High School.
A resident of Lompoc since 1969, Barbara attended church at Queen of Angels and La Purisima Catholic Churches. She was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed cooking, crochet and music.
Barbara is survived by her boyfriend of 40 years, Trinidad Castro Gomez; son Michael Snell and his wife Tina of Lompoc; daughters Deborah Gonzales and her husband Michael of Lompoc, Mona Babtist of Lompoc and Lisa Juarez of Santa Barbara; brothers Leroy Robles of Santa Barbara and David Robles of Orcutt; sisters Mary Agular of Mesa, Arizona, Bernice Robles of Lompoc and Camille Perez of Lompoc; nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation will be Monday, January 23, from 4-7pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, with the recitation of the Rosary at 7pm. Rev. Lawrence Santos will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Angels Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 24, at 10am followed by interment in the Calvary Cemetery in Santa Barbara.
