Barbara Ann Bourne White was born August 16, 1932 in Buffalo, New York. Barbara attended the Buffalo Seminary Primary School in Buffalo followed by her high school education at St. Catherine School in Richmond, Virginia. She finished her education at the prestigious Wright-MacMahon Secretarial School in Beverly Hills, California. Barbara had several secretarial jobs culminating in her appointment to District Secretary of the Orange County Water District until she retired in 1999. Barbara was married to William White in Lahaina, Hawaii in 1985 and they spent many wonderful years traveling to Europe, Mexico and Hawaii. Barbara exulted in seeing new places and people. Barbara always had a kind and generous spirit recognized by people she knew over the years. Barbara and William had 32 great years together.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Bourne and mother, Ann Bourne of Buffalo and her daughter, Tracie Barber Denton of Laguna Niguel, California. She is survived by her sons, John Barber of Morganton, Georgia and Chris Barber of Toney, Alabama and her brother James Bourne of Derby, New York. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Bryan Amman of Morganton, Georgia, Daniel Barber of Charlotte, North Carolina and Robert Barber of Ithaca, New York, and a great grandchild, Valeri Barber of Charlotte, North Carolina.
