BERNARDINO "BARNEY" TERRONES
A funeral mass will be celebrated for Bernardino "Barney" Terrones at 10:00 a.m. January 4, 2008 at La Purisima Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
A native of Lompoc, Mr. Terrones was born December 11, 1946 to Porfirio and Carmen Garcia Terrones. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post 211. Barney, a very beloved man loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and also enjoyed fishing and camping.
He died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at his home.
Survivors include his daughter, Lavern Terrones of Lompoc; sons, B.J. Terrones and his wife Shamekia of Raeford, North Carolina, Paul Terrones and fiancé Lisa Ayala of Caldwell, Idaho, Anthony Terrones of Santa Barbara, and Jesse Quinionez of Fortuna, Calif.; six sisters, eight brothers, six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
