Beatrice Marie Brunner, 82, passed away on January 23, 2012. Bea was born November 15, 1929 to Manuel S. and Tilda Domingos at her grandparent's ranch house on Santa Rosa Road near Buellton. Bea grew up in Lompoc with her five brothers, Manuel Jr., Tony, Jim, Louis, and David. She was a graduate of Lompoc High School Class of 1949. After graduation she married Charles Robert Mutschler and moved to Los Angeles. While living in Los Angeles her only child Rhonda was born in 1957. After living nearly a decade in the big city Bea moved back to Lompoc in 1960, where she lived the rest of her years.
Bea was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Manuel, sister-in-law Jackie and husband Allen Brunner. Bea was Little Grandma to her three great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Joseph, and Dominic. Nothing made her happier than spending time with the little ones. She is now watching over her daughter Rhonda Grossi, granddaughter Tanya (Cesar) Rodriguez, grandson Ricky Rodriguez, great-grandsons Joseph and Dominic Cortez, great granddaughter Aaliyah Rodriguez, her brothers Tony (Alice) Domingos and Louis (Judee) Domingos of Lompoc, her brother Jimmy (Joy) Domingos of Susanville, her brother David Domingos of Healdsburg and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom, thank you for taking such good care of us. Thank you for loving us with all your heart and soul. We will miss you every day until we are all together again.
There will be a Memorial Mass at La Purisima Catholic Church, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10am, followed by interment at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
