Beatrice Stricklin, 73, died at her home in Lompoc, California, on December 29, 2018.

Beatrice Stricklin was born on December 12, 1945, in Santa Maria, California.  She moved to Lompoc in the fifth grade.  She attended Maple School on Floradale Avenue for a year and graduated from Lompoc High School in 1963.  In 1963, she married Leroy.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Wilks, mother Frances Wilks, sisters Nancy Taylor (Bud), Charlene Cahill (Steve), Lorraine Stricklin (Ronald) and brother Charles Wilks (Betty).

She is survived by her husband Leroy, son Robert Stricklin (Heather), daughter Michelle Brock (John), grandsons Kyle Brock (Casey), Ryan Brock, granddaughter Lacie Stricklin (Nicolette), sisters Bertha Lebel (Robert), Vivian Williams (Wayland), Teresa Marrs, and Janet Nightingale, brothers Richard Wilks (Lola), Larry Wilks (Carol), Carl Wilks, Gerald Wilks, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2019, from 9-12 pm with the funeral service at 12 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  Interment will be in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery followed by a reception in the Starbuck-Lind Event Center at 138 North B Street.
