Benjamin Jean Jeanette of Lompoc left this world peacefully to go home on February 28, 2014. He was born on August 28, 1928 in Ontario, California to Mary Marie Jeanette of California.
He was preceded in death by his "Special Lady" Rosella and daughter Brenda Marie Jeanette. He is survived by daughters Carol Waite of California, Debra Wharton of Delaware and Pamela Janet-Stone of Washington; grandchildren Mike R. Waite of Oklahoma, Holly Waite Giuliani of California, John L. Hughes of Washington, Joshua T. Chippie of Delaware; great grandchildren Morray C. Giuliani of California, Willow M. of Delaware and Amethyst R. of Delaware.

Benjamin (Ben) loved nature, fishing, music, sports and watching "Gunsmoke". He was dedicated to his family and a friend to many. He had a special place in his heart for his "Caregivers." They were loved and appreciated very much. His sense of humor was unique, and his stories were fun. His favorite saying was "That's my story and I am sticking to it."

He will be greatly missed, and his love will stay in our hearts forever! A special thanks to the loving and caring staff at Lompoc Hospital and staff at Lompoc Skilled and Rehab, and to all the many friends who were with him the whole way.

A memorial service will be held at the Lompoc Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 205 W. Chestnut, on Saturday March 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm affiliated by Pastor Jose Vasquez. A reception will follow the service.
