Obituary
Bette Ide of Lompoc died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at the age of 77.
Bette was born October 10, 1936, in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, to Fred and Antoinette Rabuck.
Bette earned a master's degree from the University of Arizona and her PhD from the University of Wisconsin. She was an associate professor in the College of Nursing at the University of North Dakota.
Bette recently moved to Lompoc to live near her daughters. She was an avid reader. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Bette is survived by her daughter Jodi Carlisle of Lompoc, her daughter Karen Ide of Lompoc, her son Daniel Ide of Tucson, Arizona, three grandchildren, two sisters and her brother.
The graveside funeral service will be Friday, January 10, 2014, at 9 am at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. Pastor Fred Mast of the Sunrise United Methodist Church will officiate.
