Betty Alice Goldsberry (Worley) passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024, in Lompoc, California, at the age of 86. Betty was born on March 12, 1938, and was raised on a farm in Missouri with her 8 siblings. She was the beloved matriarch of her family, raising 7 children and caring for many of her grandchildren.

Betty was a social butterfly. She loved meeting new people and was always ready for an adventure. She enjoyed growing irises and the companionship of her pets. She was a strong woman, tough as nails, and her tenacity shined through till the very end.

She is survived by her children Sandi Best, Bonnie Patton, Teresa Westerlind, Christine Ragsdale, Carol Albrecht, Ronald Goldsberry, and Donald Goldsberry. Betty was adored by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Goldsberry and her beloved grandchildren Raymond Albrecht, Isaac Best, Toni Vietzke, and Johnny Halsey.

A funeral service to honor and remember Betty and her dear late husband Charles will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on June 10, 2024, at 10 am. A private graveside service at Lompoc Cemetery will follow. Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved her.
