Obituary
Betty Gene Smith of Lompoc died Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the age of 86.
Betty was born November 16, 1930, to Robert and Eunice Parr in Oxnard, California. She Married Oscar Smith, Jr. in 1953. They settled in Lompoc in 1987. She was a secretary in public education for 20 years.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband in 2012. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dan and Nina Smith of Lompoc and two grandchildren.
The graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 10am in the pavilion of the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
