Beverly Ann (Simbro) Goforth, 84, of Lompoc, California, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 10, 1941, in Knoxville, Iowa, Beverly was the daughter of Kenneth Lawrence Simbro and Emma Maxine (Koons) Simbro. She shared 63 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bill Goforth, building a life centered on love, faith, family, and laughter. She was also a dedicated employee of Johns-Manville, where she worked for nearly four decades and was known for her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment.
Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother whose greatest happiness came from time spent with those she loved. She is survived by her husband, Bill Goforth; her children, Tamara Terrones (Steve) and Kenneth Goforth (Wendy); her brothers, Dan Simbro and Rick Simbro; her sister, Pam Kissinger; her cherished grandchildren, David Terrones (Hailey), Daniel Terrones (Miranda), McKinzie Bates (Garrett), and Megan Goforth; and her beloved great-grandsons, Preston and Cole, with a little sister expected to join the family soon.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Simbro and Emma (Koons) Simbro, and her brother, Lawrence Simbro.
Bev had a quick wit and a remarkable gift for making everyone around her laugh. She loved sharing stories, spending time with family and friends, and attending her Women's Bible Study. Her warmth, honesty, infectious laughter, and unforgettable spirit touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Trinity Nazarene Church in Lompoc.
