Beverly Joyce Placencia, 71, of Lompoc, California, passed away on September 16, 2026.

Born on February 16, 1955, Beverly made Lompoc her home for many years. She worked for Walmart for 10 years, where she worked in customer service and formed many friendships and connections along the way.

Beverly was a devoted Catholic, and her faith was an important part of her life. She was an amazing and loyal friend with a truly generous heart. Beverly loved unconditionally and had a special way of making those she cared about feel valued and loved. To her, friends were not simply friends—they became family.

Beverly enjoyed knitting and crocheting, creating beautiful things with her hands. She also loved going to the casino, something that brought her plenty of fun and happy memories.

Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Luis Placencia, and her longtime family friend of 32 years, Frederick Moore, whose recent passing was a tremendous loss.

Beverly leaves behind dear friends and loved ones who will deeply miss her friendship, kindness, laughter, and unconditional love. She touched the lives of those around her simply by being herself—a faithful friend with an open heart who cared deeply for the people in her life.

May Beverly rest peacefully in God’s loving embrace, reunited with those she loved who went before her. Her friendship was a gift, her love was unconditional, and her memory will forever be cherished.
