Beloved husband and father Bibiano "Benny" Armero passed quietly at home on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the age of 99.
Benny served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the 1st Filippino Infantry. He served during WWII and participated in the battles at New Guinea and Southern Philippines. He received the American Campaign Medal, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with bronze star, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the WW II Victory Medal.
He is Survived by his wife Margie Armero; daughter Johnelie Dial; grandchildren, Tyler Dial (12), Kailani Dial (10) and loving numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A visitation will be held at the mortuary one hour prior to service time.
