Bradley Dean Capshaw
Bradley was born May 1, 1955 to W.P. "Smokey" and Betty Capshaw in Lompoc, California. Brad passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 6, 2013. He leaves behind a legacy of love and vigor for life that inspired others.
He was a journeyman carpenter and always willing to give his services to those in need. Brad was a musical man with many, many talents. From garages to the front stage, he loved to entertain.
Brad was a friend to all and didn't know a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, reading camping and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children Anna (Chris) Haines, Jake (Julie) Capshaw and Brooke Capshaw; his grandsons David Capshaw and Boston Monclus; his mother Betty Capshaw; sister Debbie (Jerry) Tinney; brothers Russell (Ann) Capshaw and Gary Capshaw; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts , uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father "Smokey: Capshaw in 1990, and Sister Barbara Capshaw in 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Church of Christ, 138 North O Street, Lompoc. There will be a celebration of life potluck after the service at Riverpark. All are encouraged to bring instruments, memories and Brad's favorite dishes to share with all.
Brad often told us "Love is all that matters in this world; everything else is dust."
