Brandon Pate lifelong resident of Lompoc passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the age of 16.

Brandon was born July 27, 1990 to Sophia and James Pate in Lompoc. In his two years at Lompoc High School, Brandon lettered in golf, played water polo and was raising a pig for the Lompoc FFA for the upcoming Santa Barbara County Fair.

Brandon attended Lompoc First Baptist Church.
He loved music, motorcycles, having fun and making people laugh.

In addition to his parents Brandon is survived by his brother Derek Duran of Lompoc; grandparents, Trinidad and Rebecca Gonzales of Lompoc and James and Baria Pate of Santa Maria; uncle and aunt, Mark and Carlotta Poole of Ojai, cousins, Daniel Poole, Lydia and Jeremy Johnson, and Gaven, Logan and Roman Johnson.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, in the pavilion in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery followed by a celebration of Brandon's life at Miguelito Canyon Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
