On Saturday, August 29, 2020, Brian M. Day, loving son and brother, passed away at the age of 56.

Brian was born October 17, 1963, to Clyde and Virginia Day.  He attended school in Lompoc and was a long-time employee of Tom's Hamburgers until his illness in 2014, when he lost his leg and was diagnosed with cancer.

Brian was a kind, loving and caring guy with a heart of gold.  He always had a smile and a kind word.  He never had a mean thing to say about anyone.  He was a great friend to many and the best brother ever.  He looked up to his big brothers and sister, and they all loved and admired him for the brave, kind person he was.

Brian was preceded in death by his father and mother Clyde and Virginia Day, and his nephew Robert Noel.  He is survived by his brothers, David (Patsy), Jeff (Vickey), Don, and sister Diane (Eric) Hancock.  He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

No services will be held at this time.  A Celebration of Life is being planned for the near future.
