On 17 Sept 16, Brian Slowey passed away with his family in Lompoc, CA. Brian, was born in Kearney, New Jersey, but spent many of his formative years in Haverhill, Massachusetts. In Haverhill, he forged many friendships in classrooms and on the local baseball diamonds and pond hockey rinks. Many of those friendships remained throughout his life.

Following graduation from his beloved Boston College, Brian began a career as a water chemist and salesman for a host of companies such as Dow, American Cyanamid, and finally his own company, Eagle Eye Environmental. Although he was widely regarded for his professionalism and expertise, Brian found his real passion in his "second career" as a high school science teacher and softball and hockey coach. Teaching at several schools in the Bergen County, NJ area, Brian was adored by faculty and students alike. His knowledge, wry sense of humor, and charm made him a perennial student favorite.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jennifer, and his partner, Ms. Rosemary Doscher, as well as countless friends and acquaintances that he made with his witty jokes, laughs, and passion for "living now." We'll miss you terribly, but will see you on the other side, Pops. Hadda go EAGLES!!
