Bruce Roger Allen was born on May 14, 1936 in Sacramento, Ca. to the late Thelma (Brusegaard) Mondry Moody and to Homer Allen. Roger died on February 13, 2016 in Lompoc Ca.
Roger's extended family, consists of several half siblings, step siblings, cousins, 11 aunts and uncles (deceased). Friends, animal friends, including Gabriel and Gold "D".
Roger attended one year of military school in Minnesota, he then finished high school in Minto, North Dakota. After graduation, Roger became a U.S Infantry Marine in San Diego, Ca. He eventually relocated to Lompoc Ca, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator, for 35 years in the Diatomaceous Earth Mining business.
Roger had two memorial services, one in Gilby, North Dakota with the Brussegards, one in Minto, North Dakota with classmates, at the baseball diamond where Roger had played baseball.
Roger enjoyed friendships at the Lompoc, Elks and weekly luncheons at the Whistle Stop.
Roger's family wishes to thank the Mondry, Brusegaards, and the Allen families, especially cousins; Nancy, Ray, Tom, Marsha, classmates, friends, Jimmy, Laverne, Joanne, Roger's half sister, Dorothy and half brother Richard and Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
Roger wished to thank those who participated in his life, especially during his many hospitalizations, Red, Jana, Harlan, Dennis, Sharon, Sylvia, Jim, Ron, Daniel, Judy, Fred, Howdy, and Taiko (Roger's caregiver) also many cousins, siblings, classmates and friends.
