After the war Bruce and Carin Laurine moved to Los Angeles, California where Larry was born. In 1978 Bruce moved to Lompoc, retiring from civil engineering with the County of Los Angeles.
Bruce was an adventurer. From cycling to skiing to surfing to sailing to skin diving to white water rafting with the famous Georgie White Clark in 1955, he lived life his way. He traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe, the Mediterranean, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, South America, Scandinavia, British Isles, and the Galapagos Islands.
Bruce was an avid reader, becoming a virtual walking encyclopedia on many subjects. He also enjoyed cribbage, duplicate bridge, hearts, and pinochle.
We, his family, take comfort in knowing Bruce - Dad, Grandpa - is healed, whole, and at home with Jesus.
