Obituary
Byron P. Goforth, Jr. of Lompoc returned to his Father in heaven on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at the age of 77.
Byron was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 28, 1935. He grew up with family in Tucson, Arizona. He came to Lompoc in the mid-1980s and was employed with Bomar Security and Investigations, at various jobs on Vandenberg Air Force Base and more recently with Wal-Mart.
He leaves his wife of 10 years Patricia. They were devoted members of the Lompoc Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed restoring small antique tools and old cars.
The memorial service will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 11am at the Lompoc Valley Baptist Church, 700 East College Avenue in Lompoc, led by Pastor Travis Collins. Cremation will be followed by private inurnment. The arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
Memorial donations may be made to Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, Inc., P.O. Box 908, Bellmawr, NJ, 08099-0908.
