Carmen will be missed at this unexpected time of her death. She was a very talented artist, seamstress, and cook. She was a great mother to Summer Blanchard and her grandchildren Jessica and Miguel. She is survived by her mother Ernestine DeSoto, father Gilbert Unzueta Sr., siblings, Gilbert Jr., Regina Bernice, Paul and Santos Unzueta also Ronald and Paul Gradias. She will be sadly missed by her many aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A viewing and vigil prayer swill be held at the Chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 12pm, followed by a committal service at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery at 1pm.
