Carol Ann Chambers of Lompoc died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the age of 81.
Carol Ann was born September 5, 1934, in Loma Linda, California to William and Ruth Fair. She lived in Fontana until her family moved to Lompoc in 1948. She graduated from Lompoc High School with the class of 1952.
A lifelong homemaker Carol Ann was a Camp Fire Leader, a Cub Scout Den Mother, a member of the Lompoc Alumni Association, the Historical Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Lompoc. She enjoyed reading, knitting and walking.
She is survived by three children, Carrie (Steve) Guerra, Dana Chambers and Craig (Kim) Chambers; ten grandchildren, Nathaniel (Ashley) Chambers, Elizabeth (Billy) Depriest, Victoria (Wayne) Cozad, Christine Bustamante, Phillip Bustamante, Macee (Dylan) Alley, Brent (Miriam) Guerra, Russ Guerra, Dalton and Mackenzee Chambers; her great grandchildren, Nora Depriest, Everett Chambers, Sierra Guerra and Timber and Curren Alley.
Carol Ann is also survived by a sister-in-law, Betty (Chambers) Savage, a cousin Bob (Cheri) Mange and family, her Fair cousins, the Shields "Attic" cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol Ann being a resident of Lompoc for 67 years, leaves numerous lifelong friends and families.
She was preceded in death by Husband Don Chambers, son Mark Chambers, cousin Margaret Mange, and sister in law Linda Murillo.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Assisted Healthcare Services 302 N. Milpas Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93103 or a charity of your choice.
At her request, there will be no services.
