arol Jean Horrocks passed away peacefully at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara on Monday, February 1st, 2016 at the age of 75 with family by her side.

She was born December 25th, 1940 in Minnesota to Eugene and Doris Stack, graduated from Sauk Rapids High School in 1958. Carol came to California in the mid 1960's and raised her family in Lompoc.

Carol had many activities she loved. She was a lifelong avid reader. She loved cooking, collecting cookbooks, and watching cooking shows. At one point, she even participated in local chili cook off competitions. She also had a passion for gardening, bringing her home and garden alive. She was a very creative person and enjoyed sewing outfits and crafting unique Christmas decorations. Carol was also up for a good camping and fishing adventure enjoying fishing either on a lake or the ocean.

Carol retired from ITT/FSC after 25 years of valued service.

Carol is survived by her daughter Terri Agueda, son-in-law Craig, two granddaughters Marissa and Marina, son Jonathan Horrocks, sister Joyce Vranish (Robert) of Ironton, MN, Aunt Joan Christenson (Larry) of Arizona, much-loved cousin Judy of Chicago, IL, two nephews Lee Vranish (Becky) and Christopher Vranish, and a few very close friends who will also miss her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald "Butch" Stack.

Funeral services will be held for Carol at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8th, 2016 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 135 South E Street, Lompoc.
