Obituary

It Is Not Every Day That You Meet a Soul So Beautiful That It Perfectly Encapsulates What the Meaning of The Human Experience Is. To Love Without Boundaries, Live with Integrity, And Hold on To One's Convictions Fiercely. To Know Carol Jean, Was to Love a Truly Selfless Soul.

Born To Ivan and Helen Larsen on the 16th, of November 1942 in Yreka, California. Carol Was the Eldest of Two Children, A Devoted Big Sister to Her Beloved Brother Patrick. This Devotion Remained Through the Entirety of Her Life. Being Raised in The Catholic Church, Carol Was Truly a daughter of God. Her Faith Was Present Throughout Both the Good and Also Trying Times That Come with Life. Carol Was a Devoted Wife, Marrying the Love of Her Life, David, On September 8, 1962. She Would Often Tell Us That She Had No Regrets. She Was Extremely Pleased and Thankful for The Life That She and David Had Built Together.  They Shared 50 Wonderful Years Together. They Raised Two Sons, David and Daniel, Built A Business from The Ground Up, Gained Numerous Friends Throughout the Years, Made an Impact on Their Community and Were Very Active Participants in The Lives of Their Four Grandchildren.

Carol Possessed a Passion for Painting, Novels, And Musicals. The Arts Were Really Where She Excelled. She Was a Very Engaged Member of The Art Association, Even Serving as The President of The Organization at One Time. Carol Spent Many Enjoyable Years Making Life- Long Friendships, Volunteering Time to The Art Gallery as Well as Putting on Her Own Art Shows. She Was Also a Member of The Mural Society, Participating in Mural-In-A-Day Projects, Many of Which Are Still Displayed Around the Southside of Town. She Was an Extremely Talented Artist and An Inspiration to Us All. In 1995, She Was Extremely Lucky to Survive a Brain Aneurysm That at That Time Killed Most. The Doctors Believed That She Would Most Likely Never Walk Again but She Overcame This Obstacle. They Also Believed That Her Ability to Paint Again Was Surely Impossible. The First Painting She Finished After Her Recovery She Donated to The Hospital. She Went on Painting for Many More Years.

This Woman Was Truly Our Angel Here on Earth. We Should Feel Blessed to Have Been Gifted Almost 3 Additional Decades of Loving This Amazing Woman. A Woman That Cared About Everyone Around Her and Put Others Above Herself. Constantly, Seeing the Potential in Everyone.

Carol Was a Lover, A Peace seeker, A Motivator, A Kind Heart, A Breath of Fresh Air, A Spectacular Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, And Most of All a True Friend to All.

Carol Passed Away on A Peaceful Sunday Afternoon Surrounded by The Love of Her Family. We Find Comfort in Knowing That She Is Now Reunited with Her Beloved David and The Rest of Her Loved Ones in Heaven.
