Carol Jean Seals of Lompoc died Monday, February 22, 2016, at the age of 61.

Carol was born February 26, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois to George and Dorothy Sodders. A resident of Lompoc since 1986, Carol was employed as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at the Comprehensive Care Center for almost 20 years. In her free time she loved to read her Bible and devotionals and spend time with her children. She also enjoyed many types of crafts and needlework. She was a faithful giver, donating regularly to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, the Women's Shelter and many spiritual ministries.

Carol is survived by her daughter Javasia of Colorado Springs, Colorado, her son Wesley Seals, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina, her son Odell Seals of Lompoc, and her sister Patsy Sodders of Lompoc. She was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Sodders in 2015.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, at 4pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
