It is with much sadness that we inform friends of Carole Seilhamer of her passing on Saturday, May 8th 2010 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara after a valiant struggle with an unidentifiable lung condition.

Carole was born on October 15th 1944 to Curtis and Maxine Graham in Boise, Idaho. Her family moved to Visalia, CA in 1950 where she grew up and graduated from high school. She relocated to the central coast in 1976. Carole served the Visalia P.D., Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office and Lompoc P.D. as a dispatcher until 1989 and worked for Santa Barbara County Child Protective Services for several years before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, three sisters, and a daughter, Darlene White.

She is survived by her husband Ron of over 30 years, her son Jerry White, her grandson Alex Kurkowski, her grandson Chris Hamilton of Berkeley, her sister Elaine Smith of San Luis Obispo, her sister Ruth Wagenhoffer of Lodi, her sister Charlotte Graham, and many nieces and nephews from around California.

Carole took great joy from her work with the Lompoc Women's Connection, a non-denominational christian organization where she served in several of the chairs. Her passion for bible studies was well known and she had a wide following. Carole loved life and her infectious smile and outgoing personality will be missed by all.

Memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 1pm. Pastor Bernie Federmann of the Lompoc Foursquare Church will preside.
