Caroline Ruth Lischka, 84, of Lompoc, California, passed away on October 26, 2015.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 2, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church, Vandenberg Village, California, with reception following the service. Pastor Paul Goeller of Calvary Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 -11 am that morning, at the church. Private family burial will be held at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, Lompoc California.
Caroline was born in Wheeler, Wisconsin on November 15, 1930. She graduated from West Division High School, where she played the trumpet in the marching band, and she played basketball.
Caroline was married to Raymond for 68 years.
Caroline worked as a supervisor for the Base Exchange at Vandenberg AFB for many years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, gardening, painting, and spending time with her extensive family.
Caroline is survived by her husband, Raymond, sons Dennis and Terry of Littleton, Colorado, Ronald of Lompoc, California, and David of Austin, Texas; sisters Dorothy Bogarth of Dubuque, Iowa and Florence Olson of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, 14 nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Caroline is preceded in death by her father Victor Baker and mother Alle Root Baker.
