Catherine Espino-Terrones passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was born in Hawthorne, CA on September 25, 1966 to Mike and Mary Espino and moved to the Lompoc Valley in 1980. She graduated from Lompoc High School in 1984 and married the love of her life, Ernest Terrones in 1990.

Cathy worked for the Lompoc Unified School District as an Administrative Clerk for 18 years. She loved animal and especially her cats. She had a passion for party planning, gardening and flowers, and arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ernest Terrones; her two children, Nicole Terrones and Andrew Terrones; her mother, Mary Espino; her seven siblings, Michael Espino of Morro Bay, CA; David Espino of Roseville, CA; Paul Espino of Lompoc; Lynn Zook of Carlsbad, CA; Elana Espino-Mitchell of Lompoc; Suzanne Espino-Brum of Morro Bay, CA; Jennifer Espino-Smith of San Marcos, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Mike Espino.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Friday, June 21 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday at the mortuary.
