Memorial services for Catherine Viola "Pat" Hamlin, 77, of Lompoc, will be 1 pm Friday, March 25, 2016 at Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Duane Armstrong, Celebrate. Private burial will be at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Pat was born April 5, 1938 in Torrance, California to Clark and Katherine Smart. She was a 1956 graduate of Lompoc High School, and married Bruce Hamlin whom she was married to for 39 years. They had three children, Clark, Kimberly and Wendy Hamlin. Pat was a stay at home mother until her kids were in Junior High School and then went to work for First Valley Bank. She went on to work for Bank of America until she retired. She worked as a teller and then worked her way up the manager's secretary.
Pat was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene and belonged to Preceptor Eta, Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She loved to craft, knitting, crocheting and paper crafting.
Pat died Friday March 18, 2016 at the Comprehensive Care Center. She is survived by her daughter Wendy (Rick) Mc Donald, grandchildren Zach, April, Matt, and Paige Mc Donald; great grandchildren Landon, Owen, and Easton Mc Donald and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Hamlin; daughter Kimberly Hamlin; and son Clark Hamlin.
