Caturina VanClief also known as "Katie Guzman" was born in El Paso, Texas 1933. She was the third child of parents Rito and Dolores Serna. She passed away peacefully in Lompoc on March 29 ^th , 2022, surrounded by loved ones.

Caturina attended Ysleta High School where she was an avid High School Top Letterman's Tennis Player, Softball Player and all-around sports enthusiast. After graduating from High School, she began to work as a taxi driver, engraving pressman for a printing company, and was family advocate for CAC before retiring. She always took tremendous pride in her work and everything she did. She loved cooking, crocheting and living life to the fullest with her family whom she loved dearly.

Caturina is survived by her five children Antonio Joseph Guzman Jr., Rito Guzman, Gilbert Guzman, Irene Mulholland and Roseanna Rojo; by her 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16 ^th , 2022, at 2 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel.
