Obituary

Charles "Roger" Ogden was born November 29, 1939 in Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada to Percy and Pierrette Ogden. He died May 14, 2015 in Lompoc, California ending three years of illness.

Roger had a lifelong passion for HAM radio, answering to the call N6QK. He served in the United States Air Force and was proud to become a naturalized United States citizen. He performed for 35 years applying his electronic and radio knowledge to good use with FSC-ITT Aerospace Company on Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

Other than radio, Roger's hobbies included listening to all genres of music, playing several instruments, dancing and gardening, proven by his beautiful rose garden. Overall, Roger was a kind man, who was the best man, husband, father and friend that he knew how to be.

Roger is survived by his wife Eileen Ogden of Lompoc; his daughter Audrey Ogden of San Luis Obispo and his son Percy Ogden of Illinois. He also leaves behind his brother John Ogden of Canada and sister June Coveduck of Florida along with many nieces and nephews and his lifelong friend Richard Sargent of Canada. He was called and considered "Dad" by Kim Guzman and Rochelle Heidrick, both of Hollister, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Linda Ogden Busch.
