Obituary

Passed with peace and grace on June 6 th in his home with his wife by his side.  He is survived by his wife Theresa (Teddie), son Chester Wedgeworth Jr. (Leslie), daughters  Catherine Wedgeworth (John) and Angela Morrison; grandchildren: Brian Morrison, Justin Wedgeworth, Bradley Morrison, Branden Morrison and Andrew Wedgeworth, nine great grandchildren and siblings: Linda Bravo (Oscar) , Joseph Kish III (Shirline), Evette Otte (Steve) Millette Kish and numerous nieces and nephews.  Chester was predeceased by his loving parents Mildred (Gomes) and Joseph Kish and his sister Patricia Schrag.

Chester was born in Kaimuki, Hawaii, and began his Military career in the Air Force in 1963.  Marrying the love of his life, 2019 is the year they would have celebrated 56 years together.  After marrying Teddie, he focused his energies into serving this great nation and raising their children.  A Vietnam Veteran, Chester retired from the Air Force after 21 years and continued to serve his country within the Civil Service for a combined 48 years.  He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend whose greatest passion was helping others and making people laugh.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 14 th 1:00pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, 123 North A Street, Lompoc Ca.  A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.  Reception to follow.
